Summary
Significance: Contributing element of late nineteenth/early twentieth century commercial district. In 1840s upper floor served as hall for political, community, and temperance meetings. In the last quarter of the nineteenth century part of the structure served as the residence and fruit market of Waterbury's fist Italian immigrants, the Bauby immigrants.
