Summary
Significance: Modest farmhouse of Greek Revival character, representative of the early days of permanent settlement in the region. / This well proportioned mid-nineteenth century farmhouse is representative of a scheme common to many states, with some regional characteristics. Details are of Greek origin but they reveal practical simplification. / Date of construction: c. 1850. Wood frame with clapboards. One and-a-half stories with one story wing, approx. 41' x 45'. Front porch with square columns, gabled roof over main structure and wing, 2 dormers on northwest side.
