Significance: The dwelling at 5906 Dalecarlia Place is a contributing resource to the Calecarlia Water Treatment Plane, a component facility of the Washington Aqueduct National Register of Historic Places District (refer to HAER DC-54, Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant, in the HAER collection). This dwelling is one of five identical two-story, Colonial Revival style residences at Dalecarlia (see HABS DC-817).
