A baseball game between the "shellshockers" and the "gasers" at an Amer. Hosp. in the London district. The shell-chock ward, while the gasers are from the ward devoted to men who have been gassed on the Western front. The Amer. Doctors have found that baseball is one of the best treatments for shell-shock cases. Two of three nurses are always assigned to duty on the side lines to see that their patients don't overdo the treatment. The climate in Eng. is such that baseball can be played pretty well in winter. The photograph was taken in mid-November
