The entrance to the Acropolis, the hill above the modern city of Athens which was the center of Ancient Greece when she ruled the world, and upon which was erected the most beautiful building in the world. This gives a good idea of the material remains of this ancient civilization today. But the spirit of ancient Greece has been re awakened since the war, Americans playing a big part in its rebirth. Since the American Red Cross came into the country with its modern methods of relieving suffering Greece has taken on new life. The government has adopted serveral American ideas in child welfare, agrarian reforms and hospital operation
