And France will go back home wearing spllints made by the women workers at Mulberry Walk, Chelsea, London, the headquarters of the Surgical Appliances Association, allied with the Red Cross. The photo shows a corner of the metal workshops where the splints are made. The young woman in the foreground is working on a specially designed splint for a American soldier with a badly paralyzed side. The soldier is now in hopital in London, preparing to return to America
