Aschenauer Building, 1022 Third Street, Sacramento, Sacramento County, CA
Summary
Significance: Built in 1850, the two-story Aschenauer Building is probably the oldest existing building in this area of Sacramento. Constructed at a lower level, the entire structure was elevated when the street was raised. The building was owned by the Aschenauer family from 1852 to 1962.
