Category: The Passion
Collector's notes: The faithful are entreated to join the Virgin in her sufferings during the Passion. Part of the time, Mary addresses her Son and gives vent to her grief. The last two strophes contain expressions of farewell addressed by the faithful to the Virgin. The hymn is sung immediately after the recitation of the rosary at nightfall on Good Friday.
