Columbia University war hospital buildings. On the extreme northern part of the Bronx, a Columbia University hospital, is being transformed from a mere idea into a physical actuality. Eleven one story portable buildings have been erected. All the administrative buildings and twenty two wards are up. During the war the hospital is a receiving and distribution center for the wounded that are brought back to this port.
