Upper image shows the a birds-eye view of the fortress of Benfeld in Alsace, the cloister Ehl and the headquarters of field marshall Gustav Horn during the siege of that town in 1632. The lower image shows a plan of the walled city of "Deutsch" [Deutz] on the Rhine River under attack by Swedish troops in 1632. Also shown are troop formations and troop strengths. Details in the print are labeled A-W with a descriptive key under the caption.
