Bill of Complaint in Keys v. Keys et al, [Law papers].
Summary
Summary: Isaac Keys died in 1848. In his will, he left particular items of personal property and real property to his heirs. All of the property was distributed properly except for one tract of land. Isaac Keys bequeathed to his son James Keys forty acres described as the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of a certain section of land. James Keys claimed that Isaac Keys did not own that tract, but instead owned the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of that section. James Keys retained Lincoln and Herndon and sued Isaac Keys's other heirs for a deed of conveyance for the forty acres. James Keys later dismissed the case.
