Summary

B.K. Silverlake was born in 1946 to Emma and Raymond Duke, a circus family. She outlined their history with various circuses and her life with Melvin Silverlake, who was also from a circus family. B.K. explained her jobs from performing to billposting to running the cookhouse to managing the front office. She described life on the road, life between circuses, and the challenges of owning and managing Fisher Brothers Circus.
