Print shows Napoleon on horseback arriving with several of his generals at the scene of a battle where French soldiers present the captured standards of the Mamelukes and a group of prisoners; some of the French soldiers are riding camels; on the left foreground there are dead horses and soldiers.

Printed on lower right: A la fin d'un combat livré aux Mamelucks [sic], les étendards et les prisonniers sont presentés à l'état major qui parcourt le champ de bataille. - Kléber, Dumas, Bessiéres, Desaix, Cafarelli, Monge, Desgenettes, Denon, Berthollet, &, accompagnent le général en chef de l'armée d'Egypte.
