A new type of rate-of-flow meter for studying the rate of variation of flow of water through plumbing fixtures and for use in investigation presenting similar problems has just been designed and built by the U.S. Bureau of Standards with the cooperation of the Plumbing Fixture Manufacturers Research Associateship.
