Summary
Significance: It features a two-story log dogtrot house and log smokehouse dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. Originally a one-story single-pen dwelling, the house was gradually expanded into a two-story dogtrot with frame front additions and an attached frame kitchen and dining room. The farmstead has not been altered significantly since ca. 1920 and the major structures on the site are in excellent condition.
