Summary

Significance: Built in the mid eighteenth century in the Georgian style, this house was owned by the Crapper family who owned most of south Milford's land. It was later owned by Gov. Daniel Rogers and Gov. Peter Causey. The latter owner transformed the building into a Greek Revival-style house. Although in an urban setting, the house has maintained its landscaping and related outbuildings.
