CCC steps out in new uniform. Washington, D.C., Feb. 1. Members of the Civilian Conservation Corps today stepped out in a new uniform of spruce green. The new uniform worn by Frank Papuga, right, is quite a contrast from the old one of olive drab pictured on Robert Alesandri. A two-button sack coat, topped off with a new style overseas cap and a red and yellow company insignia on left shoulder, completes the outfit, 2-1-39
