Significance: The house is a two-story, in-line solar hemicycle, Usonian-design home set into a southeast-facing hill overlooking Rawson Woods Park. The interior has a full-length balcony held up by stringers attached to the roof joists. A Wright-designed addition was constructed in 1958. The carport was converted to a study in 1990 with the approval of the architects at Taleisin Associated Architects. The exterior was refurbished in 1990.
