Summary

Birds-eye view engraving shows large sail boats and smaller open rowboats on the Danube. In the forground are Turkish soldiers on horseback and cannons, tents an infantry are just below along the bank of the river. A bridge leads across the river to a walled city around the base of a hill with a fortress at the top. Formations of troops and tent encampments are visible on the opposite shore on the outskirts of the walled city. In the upper right corner of the print are portraits of St. Frances Xavier standing and the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus sitting on a cloud. The number "480" is printed in the upper left hand corner of the print.
