"Comrade Amlie" question refuted by ICC nominee. Washington, D.C., Feb. 8. Thomas R. Amlie, Presidential appointee to the ICC, told the Senate Committee investigating his qualifications that his introduction as 'Comrade Amlie' at a mass meeting in Chicago in 1934 was unimportant.
