Summary

French soldiers pillaging and destroying the House of Lords. A guillotine takes the place of the throne and above it hangs a Liberty Cap. A French soldier carries away the mace while others rip and burn the tapestries showing the victory of the British Armada.
Hand written inscription on verso: For His Majesty. To the care of G. Tromp(?), Esq. from J. Dalrymple.
