Conversion. Toy factory. The hands of Lucille Ciecko, worker in a New England plant, tells the story of conversion in its simpler aspects. Lucille used to drill casings for toy locomotives. Here she is changing the drill on her press, about to begin the more vital work of today--drilling holes for wires in parachute flare casing. Not all conversion is as simple as this, but thousands of machines used in our peacetime industrial program are now being retooled and changed over to war work. A. C.
