Summary
Significance: The Cove power house, with its Francis turbine, was the focal point of the Cove Hydroelectric Development. The power house generated 7.5 megawatts of power to supplement the power grid of Utah Power & Light's Bear River system. The plant changed very little over its period of operation from 1917 to 2000, retaining its original turbine throughout that history.
