Daniel Reid, financier was yesterday disclosed as the man whose gift of $175,000 made possible the speedy organization of the Columbia War hospital. All the steel operating rooms and other structures are already erected on the Old Columbia in the Bronx. In a few days the eighteen wards will be finished.
