One of a set of three flutes (DCM 249, 250, 251).
Instrument type: Flute in E-flat
Medium: Cocus, ivory cork-setting mechanism with silver-mounted shaft, silver keys, ferrules and lined sockets.; 53.3 cm.
Key Holes System: 6 keys, square flaps, stamped with crown (except F (A-flat)) which is a replacement. To low C# (sounding E). No long F.
Mark Maximum: PATENT / (crown) / MONZANI & C° / 24 DOVER ST / LONDON / 1417 // PATENT / (crown) / MONZANI & C°
Mark Additional: Mark on body. Mark on head: (crown) / MONZANI & C°. Two joints hallmarked on silver socket.
Condition: Body joint cracked.
