DCM 0386: Johann Georg Otto Flute in C

The present steel spring appears to be a replacement and the foot joint bottom ferrule also appears to be a replacement.

Key Holes System: 1 key, square flat flap, spring mounted on instrument rather than on key spatula.

Mark Additional: Mark on foot. Head marked: (Saxon swords) / OTTO / **. Upper body: (Saxon sword) / OTTO / 3 *. Lower body: (Saxon swords) / OTTO / *
Condition: Lower body joint socket cracked, although its ivory ferrule is not cracked.
Provenance: Baxter-Northup Co., Los Angeles, 24 Oct. 1923.
