Summary

Possibly counterfeit, or possibly Tibouvile.
Instrument type: Flute in C
Medium: Ebony, ivory cork-setting mechanism shaft and decorative inlaid disk in cap, silver keys, nickel silver ferrules.; 61.25 cm.
Key Holes System: 5 keys, flat round flaps, post and rod, mounted on flanges. The C key is mounted in a metal saddle and may be an addition. The E-flat key flap is quite large and articulated (hinged) for assured seating.
Mark Maximum: (crossed clarinets) / T ---?vile (cursive) / FRERE / a Paris. (cursive) / (crossed clarinets)
Mark Additional: Mark on all sections. Keys hallmarked: LG.
Condition: Head joint, both sections, cracked, upper body also cracked.
Provenance: E. Angles, Paris, 17 July 1926.
