Medium: Boxwood, appearing somewhat like maple, silver keys and ferrules, metal-lined head.; 67.6 cm.
Key Holes System: 8 keys, saltspoon. Pewter plugs for low C#, C, modern post and rod.
Mark Maximum: PATENT // CARD & Cº / LONDON
Mark Additional: Mark on head.
Condition: Head joint, upper section, cracked. The embouchure hole, the 2nd finger RH tonehole and possibly the 1st finger right hand have been drastically enlarged by an amateur craftsman. Foot joint bottom ferrule possibly a replacement by DCM.
Provenance: J. Cheetham, Birkenhead, England, 1 Oct. 1931.
