Summary
Print shows an assault on Jerba Island (Tunisia) by the Christian Alliance armada under the command of Andrea Doria and the arrival of the Turkish fleet; the Christian fleet retreats in advance of the Turks who subsequently lay siege to the island forcing a garrison of Doria's troops to surrender. The Battle of Djerba took place in May 1560.
