Caption on verso: General view of mountain climbing troglodytes of Bouirat, extreme southern Tunisia. In the foreground may be seen a view of the troglodyte cemetery with white tombs of the Marabour or holy men. Above is the human beehive where thousands of human beings are born and live and die.
