Draft handwritten notes re work begun in rooms at the St. Mary's Girls' School in February [1918] which developed into use of the entire school and employment of 250-300 women representing various religions, including some who were already dressmakers by trade and others who began the work unskilled. Need for child care and soup kitchen support for working mothers and the poor. 2 1/2 pp. handwritten notes, on folio.
