Summary
Dudley Hamilton, born in 1929, joined the circus in 1982. He shared his life experiences that brought him to the circus as well as what various jobs he has held within the circus. Dudley described the life of a booking agent, press agent, pie car operator, and winter quarters groundskeeper. His is a story of circus fan turned circus employee and emphasizes his enthusiasm for the business. He shared background of Showmen's Rest, a section of the cemetery, and discussed changes he has witnessed.
