Summary

Birds-eye view print shows plan of the fortified coastal city of Dunkerque (France) under siege by French forces under command of Marshall Turenne from May 24 until June 25, 1658. Print also shows an English armada of ships on the ocean, locations of troops. In the foreground are figures on horseback, including a depiction of the King of France, Louis XIV.
