Summary

Birds-eye view print shows view of the city of Montbéliard [Mömpelgard], France, belonging to the Duke Leopold Friedrich of Würtemberg. Includes views ot the walled city, college, castle, churches and the Prince's bridge over the Allaine river. Text describes the history of the city and includes narrative of incidents in 1636 including the aftermath of the Thirty Years' War, occupation and pillage by forces under the Duke of Luxembourg and the plague.
