Print shows birds-eye view of the battlefield and troop formations along the confluence of the Neckar River and the Rhine River at Mannheim during the siege of Mannheim which the Duke of Tilly occupied between the first and 18th of October 1622 when the English general Horatio Veer set fire to the city until finally on the 4th of November of the same year the city was given back under named conditions to the Holy Roman empire.
