Estate Contant, Windmill, Cruz Bay, St. John, VI
Summary
Significance: The "cornerstone" of the windmill of Estate Contant was laid by Governor General of the Danish West Indies Kamerherre Ernst Frederik von Waltersdorff in 1790. Architecturally the most elaborate of the windmills in St. Thomas, it was converted to a residence in the 1940's and is now part of a night club.
