Farrand Packing Co. A young berry picker on Curran's farm, Rock Creek. This boy, Irvan Stevans, and the other (see 828) were the only whites working with a large number of negroes that day, and bad language was abundant. Says he works from "sunup to sundown" and has been working 3 summers. [On card with captions for both #827 and #828: Norris Lovitt. Been picking for 3 years in berry fields near Baltimore, Md. (See 827 and label). July 8, 1909.] Location: Baltimore, Maryland.
