Fireplace House, Entrance "A" Road to Lincoln Woods Reservation, Saylesville, Kent County, RI
Summary
Significance: Although no longer extant, the Fireplace House was an example of the regional building type, the "stone-ender" wherein the masonry of the chimney is exposed and forms a majority of one end wall. It was a frame building with flush siding.
