First Baptist Church, 1 Summer Street, Nantucket, Nantucket County, MA
Summary
1991 Charles E. Peterson Prize, Entry
Significance: The First Baptist Church was originally built as the Baptist Meeting House. Fredrick Brown Coleman designed the church. His design was interpreted in a very unornamented and detailed style by the builder, John Chadwick.
