First Congregational Church, 301 Benefit Street, Providence, Providence County, RI
Summary
Significance: This is a large, attractive stone church, built 1815-1816, and designed by an important Providence architect, John Holden Greene. Very few alteration have been made to the church, and the building Greene considered his most successful work survives nearly as he knew it.
