First Lady of Land christens huge air liner. The First Lady of the Land, Mrs. Herbert Hoover, christening the giant airliner Buenos Aires today at the Naval Air Station in Washington. The ship will carry 32 passengers and a crew of 4 and will be put into passenger service between New York and South America by the New York Rio and Buenos Aires Air Line. Mrs. Hoover is greatly interested in the development of air traffic between North and South America as a means of promoting good will among the American republics
