Summary
Birds-eye view print shows view of the six sided fortress castle of Boros Jeno in modern day Romania under siege by Turkish forces in 1660. View shows the fortress surrounded by swamp and Ottoman troop encampments. Includes views of tents, troop formations encircling the fortress. The city of Boros Yena (Turkish: Yanova) was captured by the Turks on August 1, 1660. Key at bottom of the print identifies details labeled A-K. The pashas referred to in the key are Köprülü Mehmet Paşa, Gürcü Kenan Paşa, Köprülüzade Fâzıl Ahmed Paşa, and Hüseyin Paşa.
