George Hall Barn, Rural Route 1, Medora, Jackson County, IN

Significance: This structure is typical of the unique round plan barns built in Indiana in the early 1900's. The structure has been fairly well preserved, and only minor structural difficulties have come about since its erection, mainly due to the incorrect installation of a central pully track which was attached to the uppermost compression ring. Both of the large horizontal sliding doors are still operational, although all of the original windows are no longer intact. The barn has been used for cattle and feed storage since its erection.
