George Judy Farm, House, County Route 9, Rough Run, Grant County, WV
Summary
Significance: This is an early example of rural log architecture. The floor plan and elements of the house are virtually unaltered. The exterior log construction is concealed by white clapboard siding, probably installed during the second half of the nineteenth century. The installation of clapboard siding was a common improvement applied to basic log structures throughout the region. All of the interior features remain unaltered and add significance to the house.
