Gets White House breakfast. Braving a biting wind, Charles P. Ruby was at the White House early in the morning on New Year's Day, prepared to be the first to shake hands with President Hoover. He achieved an honor even greater. When the president learned that Ruby was shivering outside he had his brought in, introduced him to Interior Secretary Wilbur and Justice Stone, there for a game of medicine ball with the President, then invited him to a White House breakfast.
