Good bye! Many thanks! - Public domain portrait drawing

Drawing shows a traveler, perhaps Taylor himself, shaking the hand of a barefoot Norwegian boy who has removed his hat to say farewell. Bayard Taylor traveled through Norway and Scandinavia in 1856 and 1857, after the death of his first wife.
