"Gridiron Widows" satirize U.S. Supreme Court. Washington, D.C., Dec. 17. While their husbands attended the annual winter dinner of the Gridiron Club tonight, the wives, all members of the Women's National Press Club and appropriately called 'Gridiron Widows' by Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, were guests of the First Lady at the White House. Mrs. Roosevelt's appointment to the vacancy was a feature of the party.
