Gute Nacht gez. v. Ludw. Richter

Print shows an interior scene with a family gathered around a table where a man is sitting, kissing an infant daughter or granddaughter on the cheek; a woman stands on the left, possibly the mother of the infant, and other children stand around the table, one girl hugs the man, putting her head on his shoulder. There is a small dog asleep on a chair opposite the man. The scene is framed by two small trees with coiling branches on which sit putti and an owl, with a full moon at top center; there is a potted lily on the right, the pot labeled in reverse "JR", and at the bottom left is an angel watching over an infant sleeping on a bed of oak branches with leaves and roses, and on the right, at the base of the tree is a shield labeled "LR".
