Summary
Significance: Brick load-bearing walls, 20' x 120', hoodmolds over second-floor windows, denticulated cornice between first and second floors. Large open room on first floor. One large apartment on second floor, with two bedrooms in front, open room in center, and kitchen in rear. First floor has been altered, with application of vertical siding and installation of smaller windows. On second floor, windows have been reduced in size. Cornice has been removed. Built early 1890s as a grocery store owned and operated by James and Charles E. Holt.
