Summary
Significance: It was a critical element of the Hoover Dam electrical generation and transmission system. Although it was associated by name with the Los Angeles Bureau of Power and Light 387.5/275 switchyard, the relay control building included equipment for monitoring and controlling all six of the major Federal switchyards at Hoover Dam.
